Preparing for China and Down Under

The Great Wall of China
The Great Wall of China

It has been a while since my last post after finishing the Camino de Santiago in July; you probably thought that was all there was! However, the journey of our lives is never over. As the weeks and months pass we find we need another adventure-I am still looking for mystery in the bounty of this God created world and it’s people, and you are more than welcome to journey with Rick and I. This time we are off to Shanghai, China to cruise the Yangtze River to Beijing. From there we will venture over to Kuala Lumpur then on to Australia. There will be lots of stops along the way, an abundance of photos, amazing foodie samples and time spent with beloved friends. Come along on the journey and see another part of the world with us. We begin on November 16th… see you then!

Published by Along the Way: life begins at home yet our door is forever open to adventure, new places and new people. Welcome to our travels around the world.

This blog is really about us, my husband Rick and I and our travels. We are retired with grown children and two granddaughters. We travel...exhilarating in new experiences and places and all that each day holds. We believe that life begins to fade once we fail to live into it anymore. So come along the way with us and enjoy the journey too!

  5. Have a safe, happy and memorable adventure. Be sure to visit the pewter industry in Malaysia. And walk carefully if (more like WHEN) up to the Batu craves. Bring Pepto if you overheat durian!
