Last night we sat and visited with long time friend’s from Tunisia. Their kids all nearly grown and of course none of us has aged any! It was mentioned, “I could drive from here (Petawawa, Ontario) to Frederickton, New Brunswick in 12 hours but it takes three days to cross Ontario”. Yes, it has been a long three days of driving through bush, road construction, small towns, and I should say, all set in magnificent scenery. We came for the colours of fall and we have not been denied! We have been granted a beautiful display of breathtaking glory. Weather has been ranging from warm to dreary rain. Yesterday was the rainy day as we were catching the remnants of a hurricane somewhere and today is holding much of the same. Most mornings have been misty with low lying fog which has provided picturesque moments. However, if we stopped for all the moments along the way we would never manage to get out of Ontario let alone reach our next destination. So it’s been mostly shoot while driving! Except for the occasional stops to walk the dog. We do hope you have been enjoying the journey along with us.
There’s a Lot of ‘Wawa’s’ Here (Petawawa to Ottawa)
