Although only in Montreal for one day, it gave us ample time to walk the cobblestone streets of old town and snap a few pictures. It’s ironic, after reviewing the pictures we took of old Montreal, everything appeared to look grey except for spots of color. I’ll just chalk it up to the blustery weather which has been dogging us since Thunder Bay. Cold, wind and rain like a bad cloud over our heads, and it was no different on the day we visited Montreal. So sit back and enjoy this brief tour of a charming city through our eyes…even through the grey.
Published by Along the Way: life begins at home yet our door is forever open to adventure, new places and new people. Welcome to our travels around the world.
This blog is really about us, my husband Rick and I and our travels. We are retired with grown children and two granddaughters. We travel...exhilarating in new experiences and places and all that each day holds. We believe that life begins to fade once we fail to live into it anymore. So come along the way with us and enjoy the journey too!

Beautiful pictures Diane – especially like the tree which looks like it was just past sunset!
Okay, scratch what I just said. That picture never made it in. But the one you are commenting on was actually early morning. And it’s one of my favs. đŸ™‚

Yes, I agree Lynda. I loved the yellow against the grey, it was striking.
