It was a rainy Sunday morning and we were on the road driving from Kansas City (KC) to Oklahoma City (OKC). I have to tell you, there isn’t much between KC and OKC to look at. Neither is there a lot to see from OKC to Taos, New Mexico (NM). But I get a ahead of myself so let’s back up, just a tad. We had stopped in a small town before OKC called Guthrie. Guthrie was originally the state capital before it was moved to OKC. After a brief walk through a deserted looking town we were on the road again. After spending Sunday night with a friend in OKC we headed out Monday morning in sunny weather for NM. Time with friends and family is always a good thing, however, our journey is nearing an end and we are getting road weary, so off we go. And as the sun sets we head into New Mexico and snow-covered mountains. The following pictures are those along the road from KC to Taos. Enjoy!
