We are getting close to the end of our journey and truth be told… I feel like a nomad. We have traveled four countries thus far and just as my days are beginning to mesh so are the countries. We are both longing for our own beds, our own pillows, and most of all… SPACE. Because days have been moving rapidly through various places today’s post will be a melange of everything you’ve been missing over the past few days with us. We’ll begin with The Hague, Bruges, and our stay with wonderful friends. Below are images from the Peace Palace grounds.
The photos above are from the Peace Palace grounds in The Hague and the ones below are shots from around the city.
With the Matis family we made a day trip into Bruges, Belgium.
It was a great time with so much to see and so little time. Alas I never got past The Hague or Bruges yet the road is calling us again and we must pack the bags and move on. Until another day… Vaarwel!
stone villages, old men: more fantastic photos..
must be such a wondrous thing, to find warming sunshine and great friends wherever in the world you go!
your travels are great fun…
not a bad thing that you’re close to being ready for your own bed…
such good times, making amazing memories..
thanks for the sharing diane!
travel on well with heaps of love.. xox

We’ve just arrived in a tiny village where we’ll stay for the night in a converted old barn. Our room is where the 🐄 (cows) used to be. Blog and pictures in a day or two.
